Description: The imposing Vitosha mountain stands next to the capital city of Sofia. It’s numerous alleys and paths have turned it in to the favorite park for walks and picnic for the locals. Green pine and oak forests, moraine rivers and stunning views is what’s in store for the tourists, who chose to explore this extinct volcano. This tour includes a climb of the highest point of the mountain – the Black Peak, visit to the Boyana waterfall and much more. Itinerary: This tour starts from your hotel. After 20 minute transfer to the foot of the mountain, we take a lift to the high parts. After the hike to the highest peak (2 hours), it’s time for lunch. On the way down to the city we visit the 25 meter high Boyana waterfall. Return to Sofia – the tour ends at your hotel.
