Plovdiv – economic tour
Tour highlights:
The excursion starts from the Sofia central bus station, in the morning. After 2 hours drive with regular bus-lines, in a comfortable bus, you will reach Plovdiv trough the “Thracia” highway. In Plovdiv you will be met by a local licensed guide, who will present you the second biggest and most beautiful Bulgarian city in a 4 hour walking tour . Plovdiv is a picturesque town, with many parks and gardens, museums and archaeological monuments. 
Walking along the main street, you will be able to feel the specific, charming mood of the town and see the typical architecture from the beginning of IXX century, combined with modern shops and cafes.
You will visit the well preserved remains of the Ancient Roman Theatre, Ancient Stadium and Ancient Forum dated since I – II century.
Next is a visit to the Old Town of Plovdiv (UNESCO heritage listed site) with it’s houses from the National Revival period (18-19th century). Old Plovdiv is an imposing open-air museum, situated on the three hills of the ancient Trimontium. You will visit Hisar Kapia, the Balabanova house, the Lamartin House and the museum of the National Revival also situated in a beautiful house.
